PRODUCTION STAFF

Industry Nine - Asheville, North Carolina

Industry Nine is looking for a future crew member that has strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to join our production team. Applicants should be intrinsically motivated and have a positive can-do attitude. Requirements:

  • Bicycle/wheel and component knowledge helpful but not required.
  • Positive, easy-going attitude.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Production experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years professional work experience required.
  • Enthusiasm for cycling preferred.
  • U.S. Citizen authorized to work

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Hub assembly.
  • Small parts assembly.
  • Other production roles as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

  • This position is full time at our Asheville, NC facility.
  • Salary will be commensurate with experience.

CNC MACHINE OPERATOR - 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts

Industry Nine is looking for someone with strong CNC metal cutting equipment experience and a keen eye for dimensional and visual detail to join our shop team. Applicants should be intrinsically motivated and have a positive attitude. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Download CNC programs to the machine tool.
  • Understanding of shop drawings and the ability to identify critical features.
  • Understanding of various geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Produce components that meet or exceed drawing specifications.
  • Properly use basic shop gages to accurately measure machined components.
  • Ability to edit or make minor program changes as required.
  • Ability to maintain operations through tool changes and offsets.

Requirements:

  • CNC machine shop experience required.
  • 2-3 years professional work experience required.
  • Positive, easy-going attitude.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Enthusiasm for cycling preferred.
  • Willing to train highly motivated and mechanically minded applicants.

Industrial Machinery Mechanic

Turnamics Inc. - Asheville, North Carolina

We are looking for an experienced, self-starter interested in working in an industrial manufacturing environment to fill a key maintenance role within the company. A highly skilled person who enjoys a variety of technical challenges will excel in this role. Primary responsibility will be the preventive maintenance & repair of production equipment Duties cover a broad breadth of areas including, electrical, electronics, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow procedures and work rules in compliance with all safety policies.
  • Analyze equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or re-build.
  • Work independently on assigned maintenance work orders.
  • Ensure the timely repair of equipment to minimize manufacturing downtime.
  • Fabricate necessary structural components or repair parts as needed
  • Assist other maintenance personnel as needed.

Qualifications Required:

  • Strong organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Proven understanding of equipment drawings, technical manuals, blueprints, wiring, pneumatic & hydraulic schematics, and engineering specifications.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and machining.
  • Prior experience with preventive maintenance programs or systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy including all paperwork.
  • Team player and ability to work with other departments within the organization.
  • Job is day shift on weekdays. Must be able to work off-hours shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed to accommodate maintenance schedule.
  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
