Staff Accountant.

Industry Nine, Inc and Industry Nine - Asheville, North Carolina

Industry Nine is seeking a full time staff accountant. This position will be in person working out of our HQ in Asheville, NC, reporting to our finance manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bookkeeping experience w/ accounting software
  • Business administration experience
  • Knowledge of SAP B1 and Wave accounting software is a plus
  • Proficient in Google G Suite is a plus
  • Proficiency with computers and other general office equipment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable process
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Assist in resolving customer and vendor account discrepancies
  • Tenant management / collecting monthly payments
  • Coordinate with tenants and third parties to address maintenance and facility needs
  • Coordinate and organize the company's insurance needs. Including renewals, loss runs, COI requests, etc.
  • Assist in inventory receiving when applicable
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies

Production Coordinator

Industry Nine, Inc and Industry Nine - Asheville, North Carolina

The Production Coordinator is an integral part of the production process and involved in every aspect of the production timeline, from order entry to invoicing. Communication and organization across departments is key. The basic functions of the job will entail overseeing all aftermarket and distributor orders once they enter production, receiving parts, and communicating on a daily basis with the sales team.

Expectations:

  • Help maintain positive, constructive communication channels on production floor and cross-department with sales team
  • Ability to effectively ‘direct traffic’ to meet ever changing production needs
  • Solid communication and listening skills
  • Understanding of SAP B1
  • Knowledge of production staff’s roles and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of the production process
  • Detail-oriented mindset, willing to probe into specifics
  • Willing to go above and beyond defined job responsibilities when questions or issues arise to find root of issue/question to help determine best path forward

Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversees all direct to consumer, retailer, and distributor orders as they flow through production to ensure due dates are met
  • Communicate with sales team on inventory shortages, shifting lead times, green tag items, etc.
  • Sends out morning email for sales team and department production heads to address lead times, part shortages, production updates, and late sales orders
  • Receiving for daily Turnamics raw parts, external vendors, and soft goods organization. This includes GRPO’s in SAP as well as clearly labeling and storing parts in an organized manner
  • Ensuring external vendor receiving matches pack lists and Purchase Order, when applicable
  • Daily receiving of returns and adding parts back to inventory
  • Follow up on customer orders to ensure on time delivery
  • Inventory counting when necessary
  • Provide front line support - when needed, step in to help production and shipping departments during short term staff shortages or when critical high volume production output is required
  • "Push" Work Orders into production according to due date/priority level
  • Keep tabs on Green Tag list to meet customer needs to best of our ability
  • Support Process Analyst, Inventory Manager, Production Supervisor when needed

Shipping Associate

Industry Nine is looking for a qualified Shipping Associate to join our shipping department. The Shipping Associate will assist in daily shipping and distribution operations. A successful Shipping Associate is analytical, well-organized and excels in multi-tasking and communication. They must be comfortable with paperwork, a high paced environment, information systems and have knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while maintaining a keen attention to detail
  • Computer savvy and experience using databases and ERP systems
  • Technically competent with base understanding of the bike industry
  • Solid knowledge and experience with logistics procedures
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • High school diploma; Bachelor degree a plus
  • Proven experience as shipping associate a plus
  • Experience working with Amazon order fulfillment a plus
  • Avid bike riders always welcome

Responsibilities Include:

  • Use SAP and shipping programs to track, check, prioritize and route orders
  • Follow up on orders for sales department and ensure shipping deadlines are met
  • Pick, assemble and package small parts
  • Manage shipping supply levels
  • Organize distributor orders and proper part labeling
  • Manage package receiving and internal delivery
  • Collaborate with Shipping Manager and sales for daily shipment deadlines
  • Resolve issues regarding shipped orders in an urgent and professional manner
  • Strap and wrap pallets
  • Restock, organize and package small parts
  • Follow up on back ordered parts with production, sales and customers
  • Process orders and fulfillments
  • Process complete hub orders, organize and track down remaining hubs on incomplete orders
  • Organization of QBP orders - preparing stickers and gathering small parts to get packaged
  • Small parts area - restock kits on Mondays. Ensure area remains clean/organized/stocked throughout the week
  • Communicate with customers/sales when small part orders are BO
  • Communicate with production/sales to ensure orders are complete when due
  • Seek ways to improve department and productivity
  • Willingness to be in a dynamic environment, wear many hats and learn
  • Oversee e-commerce/Amazon order processing and inventory fulfillment

Laser Operator

Industry Nine, Inc and Industry Nine - Asheville, North Carolina

The Laser Operator is an integral part of the production process and will be responsible for ensuring parts are received from our anodizing department and lasered with Industry Nine branding. Initially this role will involve some flexing between the laser department, packaging, and to support the production team where help is needed.

Expectations:

  • Have a proficient knowledge of all parts that come through the department and display a very high level of detail orientation:
    • Understand different hole counts on hubs and their corresponding part numbers.
    • Able to differentiate between Freehub bodies.
    • Have an understanding of different Stem body types and lengths.
    • Check Spokes for accurate length and gauge and ensure they match their tag.
  • Capable of running both Lasers:
    • Comfortable with navigating through and creating new LNA files.
    • Able to make axis and dimension adjustments as needed.
    • Capable of troubleshooting and running lasers manually if needed.
    • Willing to problem solve and create solutions.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on accuracy:
    • Quality over Quantity.
  • Possess good time management skills:
    • Manage daily workflow so that it is efficient and while meeting the needs of various departments.
  • Communicate effectively with the Laser Team as well as other departments in order to move product through efficiently.
  • Positive attitude - this role will flex to other departments and each day will require patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide accurate lasering on all applicable parts.
  • Enter an accurate count of lasered product into the Production Progress Sheet.
  • Accurately enter Hubs, Spokes and Stems into Anolab.
  • QC for Blems and correct Hole Count.
  • Communicate Blems and Anolab corrections to Inventory Manager for removal from SAP.
  • Flex to the packaging department and other production areas when needed.
