The trail doesn’t care about specs—it give direct immediate feedback. It points out an little missed detail. Hydra2 was built from that feedback, with over 100,000 hard-ridden Hydra1 hubs showing us where to push further.
A 65% thicker axle targets real stress points, larger bearings and a full-contact seal system keep contamination out, and expanded pawl pockets dissipate more force where it matters.
Add an extra tooth on every pawl, stronger drive ring materials, and 0.41° engagement with significantly reduced drag, and the result is immediate, reliable drive when you need it most. Hydra2 isn’t theoretical performance—it’s engineered from the ride.

A dual-phase pawl system delivers 90 points of engagement with quick, predictable response, backed by high-capacity bearings built to handle real trail loads.
A conventional flanged hubshell pairs with standard J-bend steel spokes for proven reliability and serviceability anywhere—no proprietary tools, no barriers. 1/1 is the on-ramp to Industry Nine, built the right way from the start.
