Born in southern California and raised on anything with two wheels, bikes have always been a huge part of Phil's life. Ever since his first job as a bike builder at the age of 13 he's been passionate about fixing and making anything related to bikes and doing it right. Ten years and a couple of bike shops later, Phil ended up at Industry Nine where he continues to keep his passion for bikes alive and our wheel quality at the highest level possible as our Head Wheelbuilder. When he's not building wheels you can find him cozy at home behind his fly tying vise, or on the trails and water around Asheville enjoying our best singletrack and hunting for a new spot to fish.
